Technological innovation: The "15th Five-Year Plan" plan determined by the China Machinery Industry Federation will continue to place technological innovation in a prominent position, strengthen basic research and original innovation, and make breakthroughs in key core technologies, such as breakthroughs in key technologies for intelligent equipment such as industrial machines, industrial robots, and intelligent instruments.

Driving digital transformation: The "Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation and Intelligent Upgrading of the Machinery Industry" proposes that by 2027, enterprises with intelligent manufacturing capability maturity level two or above will account for 50%, and no less than 200 excellence-level smart factories will be built; by 2030, designated enterprises in the machinery industry will basically complete a round of digital transformation, and enterprises with smart manufacturing capability maturity level two or above will account for 60%, and no less than 500 excellence-level smart factories will be built.

Expand effective investment: The "Machinery Industry Stable Growth Work Plan (2025-2026)" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments proposes to accelerate the construction of major projects in the national "14th Five-Year Plan", plan major projects in the "15th Five-Year Plan", and continue to stimulate the innovative development of agricultural machinery equipment, engineering machinery, rail transit equipment, medical equipment, etc.At the same time, the role of investment funds such as the Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading Fund, Industrial Machinery Fund, and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund will be used to guide social capital to increase investment in the manufacturing industry and create demand for machinery and equipment.

Promote green development: The policy framework of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology emphasizes strengthening environmental awareness, promoting green manufacturing, and encouraging machinery factories to use environmentally friendly materials and energy-saving and emission reduction technologies to reduce the impact of production on the environment. This will help machinery factories upgrade and transform in terms of environmental protection and achieve sustainable development.
