1. According to standards:
1. This testing machine is suitable for the GB/T 8287.1-2008 "Indoor and outdoor pillar insulators for systems with nominal voltage higher than 1000V Part 1: Testing of porcelain or glass insulators" standard.
2. This testing machine is suitable for the GB/T 8287.2-2008 "Indoor and outdoor pillar insulators for systems with nominal voltage higher than 1000V Part 2: Dimensions and Characteristics" standard.
3. This testing machine is manufactured according to GB/T 16491-2008 "Electronic Testing Machine" standard.
4. This testing machine is calibrated and accepted in accordance with GB/T12160-2002 "Regulations on Extensometers for Uniaxial Testing" and GB/T16825-1997 "Inspection of Tensile Testing Machines".

2. Test method:
1. Tensile test: Tensile test means that the insulator is subjected to a tensile load along its axis.The tensile load of a pillar insulator can be tested with a single pillar insulator. If the pillar insulator is composed of multiple components, select a component with lower strength for testing.(Requirements of 5.2.6 in GB/T 8287.1-2008 standard)
2. Compression test: The compression test means that the insulator is subjected to compressive pressure load along its axis.The compressive strength of the two-dimensional pillar insulator can be tested with a single pillar insulator. If the pillar insulator is composed of multiple components, select a component with lower strength for testing.Longer pillar insulators may become unstable during compression tests, so the entire pillar insulator should be used for testing.(Requirements of 5.2.7 in GB/T 8287.1-2008 standard)
